Gator Hospitality hires one year long office intern and a gameday intern for each sport. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working in sports and premium seating. Start dates are usually the beginning of June.
The Gator Hospitality Interns play a vital role in the success of football, basketball, and baseball premium seating operations at the University of Florida athletic events and facilities. Interns will work closely with the UAA, Gator Boosters, and donors. Interns also help manage game day workers, FANgineers™.
These positions require excellent communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, organizational skills, dedication, and enthusiasm. Interns must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work long hours on weekdays and weekends. Ideal candidates should have availability on Thursday and Friday of football game weeks. In addition to daily administrative tasks, Interns will work all home football games as well as some basketball games, baseball games, and other events as assigned.
Experience in event management, sport management, hospitality, and/or customer service is preferred but not required.
This position is paid hourly. Please note: Because Gator Hospitality is an official office of REVELxp (a private company), we are not considered an “on-campus job”, therefore we can only hire applicants who are eligible to work in the US for any employer.
